The pump (3), for the feed of fuel for piston engines or rotary piston engines in unmanned aircraft, in conjunction with an element (4) limiting pressure through fluid bypassing produces an almost constant fuel pressure during variable fuel consumption volume. The system pressure of the pump is essentially in the region of 0.3 to 1.8 bar. The pressure limiting element is adjustable to the required pressure range. The fuel pump is driven by an electric motor with the pump fitted directly on the shaft of the motor. The electric motor by means of an electronic control unit is supplied with a constant voltage independent of supply voltage fluctuations.
