The testing arrangement has light emitting diodes (1,2) that are arranged on a PCB (3) in a selected pattern and provided to a voltage (8) for determining functional characteristics, especially brightness and color of the LEDs. The brightness and the color signals of each LED is determined by a video camera (5) and provided to a PC. The signal is processed, so that the function of each LED of the selected diode pattern is determined using the measured pixel number for each diode signal.
