The support foot for posts for pergolas, canopies, fences and suchlike consists of a tubular upright support (3) fastened to a baseplate (1). The tubular upright support has four inner slotted, angled, raised half-round support surfaces (4) which serve as axial support surfaces for a flanged nut (6) with a steel ring (7), and after the fitting of the flanged nut above the steel ring the tubular support on the top side (8) is beaded to form a sub-assembly.
