The eccentric damping construction for a sprung fitness scooter has a shock absorber device for the eccentric wheel of the scooter and consists of a forked tube, with their two separate tubes (21) each connected at their lower end to a respective connecting tube (22) while the other ends of the connecting tubes are connected to the eccentric wheel hub (131) of the eccentric. The upper section of each fork tube is connected to the wheel hub end of the connecting tubes by a shock absorber tube (23) which can extend and shorten.
