Automatic gearing system comprises switching elements (B, E) each having a lamella packet (200, 500), a servo unit (210, 510) for operating each lamella packet, and a common lamella support for receiving the lamella packet. The common lamella support forms a coupling chamber containing the lamella packet (500) and the servo unit (510) of the switching element (E). The servo units of the switching units each have a pressure chamber (211, 511) and a piston (214, 514). The pressure chambers of the servo units are separated from each other by a casing surface of the common lamella support. Preferred Features: The piston of the servo unit of the switching unit (B) has an operating stamp (216) which acts from the side of the lamella packet of the switching element onto the packet.
