The invention concerns a moulding unit comprising a two-part mould, each mould-half 12) being borne by a support (17) of the type wherein the two supports are capable of being moved between an open position and a closed position wherein the supports are linked with each other by locking means, and of the type wherein the moulding unit includes line pressure compensating means thrusting transversely at least one of the mould-halves (12) towards the other.
