The panel consists of a transparent or translucent layer (1) and a metal mesh layer (2) in a supporting or reinforcing frame (3). Depending on its use, the metal mesh can be of woven fine wires, expanded metal sheet, interwoven strips or bars of stainless steel or other metals, such as aluminum, copper, brass or titanium, and can incorporate glass, carbon, plastic or optical fibres.
