The motor has a cylinder (3) with a piston driven by a mechanical activator (10) to apply a friction unit (9a) against a rotating disk (D). A self adjusting mechanism device (A) of the friction unit has a nut coupled to piston engaged on a screw coupled to activator. A sensitive unit (B) detects the wearing of the friction unit and provokes a step-by-step control device of device (A) to unscrew the nut based on the wearing. An Independent claim is also included for a disk brake equipped with the disk brake motor.
