The use of boron nitride associated with at least one oil in a cosmetic composition to condition the hair. The boron nitride particles are coated in the oil(s). Independent claims are included for a cosmetic composition comprising, in a cosmetically acceptable medium, the boron nitride and oil and for a method of treatment of the hair by applying the claimed composition and optionally rinsing after an optional delay.
