The process involves producing electrical energy by moving a vehicle and using the energy for detecting and entering size and parameter of a wheel tire (3). The size and the parameter of the tire are transmitted by a transmitter. An electromagnetic energy is supplied from an exterior of the vehicle and converted in a region of the tire for effectuating the transmission of the size and parameter when the vehicle is at rest. An independent claim is also included for a system of acquiring and transmitting a characteristic or a size of a wheel tire of a vehicle.
