PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoch making steam processing method for fixing a dyeing material to a ground fabric by preventing generation of irregular colors and creases after steam processing of the ground fabric by bringing steam to pass through a space between the surface and the back in a hanging section for hanging the ground fabric, and a steam processing apparatus for fixing the dyeing material to the ground fabric.;SOLUTION: The steam processing method is to fix the dyeing material printed by textile printing process, install a ventilation surface section 5 for permitting the steam contacting to the ground fabric 1 to pass through in the section where at least the ground fabric 1 of the hanging section 3 for hanging the ground fabric 1 after the textile printing processing, hang the ground fabric 1 on the ventilation surface section 5 of the hanging section 3 and contact the steam to the ground fabric 1 to fix the dyeing material and inhibit generation of irregular fixation of the dyeing material at the contact section of the ground fabric 1 to the ventilation surface section or generation of creases.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
