PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint construction method and a backing hardware used for the joint construction method allowing easy construction from the inside of a building.;SOLUTION: The joint construction method for waterproofing a joint M formed between face members 21 when erecting a plurality of wall panels 20 of a building external wall provided with panel frames 22 and the face members 21, comprises a first process for erecting a plurality of wall panels 20; a second process for temporarily fastening the plurality of erected wall panels 20; a third process for disposing the backing hardware 30 of approximately U-shaped cross section having a pair of sidewalls 31a and a bottom wall 31b connecting the sidewalls 31a, in the joint M from the interior side of the building by inserting the bottom wall 31b side forward; a fourth process for filling a backup material 11 from an opening 31c of the backing hardware 30; a fifth process for disposing a bond breaker 12 on the surface of the backup material 11; a sixth process for disposing a sealing material 13 adjacently to the bond breaker 12; and a seventh process for pressing in a column member 40 for supporting the wall panel 20 between the panel frames 22 of the wall panels 20.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
