READER ID CONTROLLER, READER ID CONTROL METHOD AND READER ID CONTROL PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology to use one reader for a plurality of usages at the time of making the reader read a tag for identification attached to an article.;SOLUTION: This reader ID controller is provided with a storage means for storing a reader ID allocation rule for describing the corresponding relations of different ID allocated to the same reader with the allocation conditions of those ID, a means for acquiring allocation conditions to be established when the reader reads the tag for identification, a means for specifying the reader ID allocation rule indicated by the acquired allocation conditions from among the reader ID allocation rules stored in the storage means and a means for allocating the different ID to the same reader which reads the tag for identification according to the specified reader ID allocation rule. Thus, it is possible to arbitrarily change the reader ID to be applied to one reader. Therefore, an application, which determines the usage or place of the reader according to the reader ID, is allowed to use one reader for a plurality of usages.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
