PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter for catching floating particulates, which can simply and quickly classify and catch the floating particulates in a separate state with each other, a method of catching the floating particulates using the same, an analytical method of the floating particulates, and an apparatus for catching the floating particulates.;SOLUTION: The filter 1 for catching the floating particulates is composed of a porous film of 0.1-20μm in thickness, a pore size of the aperture portion being 20μm or less, preferably 0.1-10μm, and an aperture rate of the porous film being 45-75%. The method of catching the floating particulates is provided with a setting process setting the filter 1 for catching the floating particulates to an airflow channel and a suction process sucking in gaseous matter to the airflow channel. The analytical method of the floating particulates is provided with a process of catching the particulates, an imaging process, and a measuring process of the particulates.
