PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly optimize reconstruction functions in reconstructing a tomographic image of a subject.;SOLUTION: The tomographic apparatus has a structure of producing an added tomographic image by adding three first to third tomographic images reconstructed by a plural tomographic image reconstruction part 7 using first to third reconstitution functions according to the filter reverse projection method by a tomographic image adding part 9 at a rate corresponding to the quantity of weighing W1-W3 set by a weighing quantity setting part 8. Since the frequency characteristics of the added tomographic image can be adjusted only by adjusting the weighing quantities W1-W3 of the first to third tomographic images by the weighing quantity setting part 8, the reconstruction functions in producing the added tomographic image, which is the final result of the tomographic image reconstruction according to the filter reverse projection method based on the X-ray projection data by the tomographic image reconstruction part 4 can be rapidly optimized.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
