PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily carry out background image combination processing while representing an atmosphere suitable for photographing an object. PSOLUTION: In a photographed image processing system 100, a background lighting unit 222 projects a background image onto a plain background member 25 under the control of a photographing control section 21, and the photographing condition of a DSC23 and object lighting units 221a, 221b is set. When a release switch is depressed, the background lighting unit 222 is turned off, a shutter in the DSC 23 is released succeedingly and an object is photographed. Photographed image information obtained by photographing is subjected to signal value conversion by a pre-processing section 51 and thereafter an object image extract section 52 detects the contour of an object image region to extract object image information, and an image combination section 53 combines the extracted object image information with background image information prepared in advance.
