WASP-INTERCEPTING APPARATUS FOR PROTECTING HONEYBEE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wasp-intercepting apparatus for protecting honeybees, which can prevent the approach of wasps to a nest gate and simultaneously the confrontation of the honeybees with the wasps to protect the honeybees from the attack of the wasps.;SOLUTION: 1. An electric fence method: two lattice-like metal fences are attached to the inside of a frame box in a state overlapped at a distance of about 25 mm and then energized to prevent the approach of wasps to a nest gate for honeybees by flying or walking. One method for forming the two lattice-like metal fences comprises vertically standing the wires of the lattice at a distance of 40 to 50 mm and then laterally arranging the formed two fences, and the other method comprises horizontally disposing the wires of the lattice at a distance of 40 to 50 mm and then vertically arranging the formed two fences. A blinding and walk-inhibiting plate is attached to the floor of the apparatus to prevent that the honeybees approach the front end of the apparatus to confront to the wasps. Furthermore, the ceiling is clarified to retreat a defense line to the nest gate. 2. In stead of the electric fences, small transparent pieces are vertically stood, and the formed two fences are laterally arranged. The wings of wasps touch with the transparent fences.
