PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the lifting bearing power of a building foundation from the firm lower ground to stabilize the foundation and to perform most of correction work from the ground while reducing the amount of excavation around the foundation.;SOLUTION: This lifting device 1 for the building foundation is composed of a steel pipe pile 2 constructed near the foundation B; a bracket 3 movably held to the steel pipe pile to abut against the lower face of the foundation; and a jack means 4 arranged at the top part of the steel pipe pile to lift the bracket along the steel pipe pile. The bracket is composed of a base pipe 31 annularly and movably mounted to the steel pipe pile, and a beam part 32 extended in a cantilever state from the base pipe. A bearer 34 constituted to be movable in the length direction of the beam part or to be detachable may be disposed at the beam part. Further, a counter load mechanism 5 for applying counter moment to oppose rotational moment to the base pipe generated by cantilever load may be arranged on the opposite side to the bracket.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
