WEB CARRYING DEVICE AND WEB CARRYING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a web carrying device and a web carrying method capable of preventing the generation of damage in a web when giving the optimal tensile force corresponding to an operation mode to the web.;SOLUTION: A first to a third bridle sections 20, 21 and 22 for holding a tensile force difference between each of processes are provided between each of processes of a PS panel manufacturing line 10. A first to a third dancer devices 28, 35 and 40 for giving tensile force to an aluminum web 19 are provided in each of the bridle sections 20, 21 and 22. A number of revolution detecting unit 51 for detecting the number of revolution is fitted to a second bridle roller 34 of the second bridle section 21. In the case of selecting operation mode of the PS panel manufacturing line 10, when the aluminum web 19 carrying speed to be accelerated or decelerated reaches the speed for stabilizing carrying of the web, a system controller 53 drives each of the dancer devices 28, 35 and 40 to switch tensile force to be given to the aluminum web 19.
