PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet having superior stamping properties and the improved peeling resistance of an insulation coating, by solving the problem of the peeling of the insulation coating occurring when forming the insulation coating on a grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet having no forsteritic coating thereon after final finish-annealing has been finished, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor.;SOLUTION: This electromagnetic steel sheet has a composition comprising, by a mass ratio, 2.0% to 8.0% Si, 0.005% to 1.0% Mn, 10 ppm to 100 ppm (in total weight) of one or more rare earth elements, and the balance Fe with unavoidable impurities; has a secondary recrystallization structure with a main orientation of {100}[001] or {110}[001]. The manufacturing method comprises preparing an original sheet having no forsteritic film on the surface after final finishing annealing has been finished, and forming the insulation coating thereon.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
