PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an oolong tea extract having high transparency and good taste and flavor, and causing no cloudiness or dregs even after long preservation, and a method for producing an oolong tea beverage.;SOLUTION: The method for producing the oolong tea extract comprises the following process: concentrating extracted liquid extracted from oolong tea leaves with warm water so as to have a Brix degree of 10-40; and eliminating solid matters from the concentrated liquid via centrifugal separation under the condition of 3,000-16,000G to obtain the oolong tea extract having a cloudiness degree of ≤0.017 when diluted to have a Brix degree of 0.2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
