PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for purifying rearing water designed to miniaturize a filtration tank, enhance filtration performances and filter the rearing water over a long period.;SOLUTION: The apparatus for purifying the rearing water is equipped with a plurality of filtration chambers filled with a filter medium in the state of rows in the nearly horizontal direction, communicating parts for making the rearing water flow to the adjacent filtration chambers installed alternately in the upper part and the bottom of each filtration chamber to thereby carry out filtration while making the rearing water flow in the vertical directions and circular stream-generating means for subjecting the rearing water to the circular streams. The apparatus for purifying the rearing water is composed by installing the following. A water tank in which the filtration tanks are installed, a circuit for returning the filtered water discharged from the filtration tanks through the interior of the water tank with a circulation pump, a water temperature regulating means for setting the rearing water circulating through the interior of the water tank to a prescribed temperature and a sterilizing means for sterilizing the rearing water.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
