PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously carry out calibration with color conversion according to a profile conforming to a specification proposed by ICC. PSOLUTION: This profile generation device is provided with: a correction conversion generation part 70 for generating correction conversion (in this case, a gradation correction curve 72) where color space coordinates showing image data 71 and 73 and measurement values 75 of colors of an image 32 in a color printer 30 come close to an ideal relationship; a profile generation part 80 for generating a profile expressing correspondence between the image data and the colors of the image and conforming to the specification proposed by ICC by presuming that the correction conversion is applied to the image data; and a profile correction part 90 for incorporating the correction conversion into the profile.
