PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly set a substitute of a product for which an inquiry is received from a user.;SOLUTION: On receipt of an inquiry content for failure of a printer 51 from a user computer 50, a Web server 20 reads the user's purchase time of the printer 51 and sets a substitute to a new product or a used product based on the user's purchase time. Therefore, the substitute of the broken printer 51 can be properly set. A truck driver goes to the address of the user by a truck loaded with the substitute and diagnoses the broken printer 51. When the failure is caused by a user's mistake, the driver brings back the substitute as it is to a repair center after eliminating the cause, and when the failure is not caused by the user's mistake, the driver replaces the printer 51 by the substitute and brings back the printer 51 to the repair center.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
