PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep data updated on a server to the latest state on clients, while reducing the number of transactions. PSOLUTION: The server 20 has a sending confirmation-completed information storage part 26 for storing contents lastly confirmed by the client 10 as a sending confirmation-completed list; a post-updated data set storage part 27 storing the data after the update made to be held by the client 10; an update information transmitting part 24 for transmitting a difference between a data set specified by the sending confirmation-completed list and the data set after the update; a sending-completed information update part 23 for storing contents of the data, set after the update in a sending-completed information storage part 25 as a sending-completed list; an update request receiving part 21 for receiving an update request from the client 10; and a sending confirmation-completed information update part 22 replacing the sending confirmation-completed list with the sending-completed list when contents of the data set held by the client 10 differs from contents of the data set specified by the sending confirmation-completed list.
