PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize cost reduction by allowing a user who is a consumer, to effectively utilize privileges offered by a plurality of entrepreneurs.;SOLUTION: This cost reduction apparatus includes: a personal information storage means for storing, for each user, personal information of the user inputted from a user terminal via a network; preferential information storage means for storing a plurality of pieces of preferential information each including at least the utilization conditions and preferential contents of each privilege to be offered by each of a plurality of entrepreneurs for supplying services or articles and including a cooperative relationship relating to the entrepreneur of the same industry or to the privileges with each other; and a preferential information retrieval means, with regard to a user whose personal information is stored in the personal information storage means, for retrieving preferential information that is available for the user and capable of reducing costs, and transmitting at least the utilization conditions and the preferential contents to the user terminal by collating the personal information stored in the personal information storage means with the preferential information stored in the preferential information storage means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
