PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical piece selection apparatus capable of selecting a musical piece matching user's taste and obtaining a musical piece selection result which is rich in variation.;SOLUTION: The musical piece selection device is equipped with a musical piece data storage part, an impression quantity storage part, a musical piece selection priority storage part, and a musical piece selection processing part. The musical piece data storage part stores musical piece data. The impression quantity storage part stores impression quantities obtained by quantifying listener's impression on musical pieces by the musical pieces whose data are stored in the musical piece data storage part. The musical piece selection priority storage part stores musical piece selection priority representing one of the reproduction history of a musical piece and taste of the musical piece by the musical pieces.
