PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for subjecting many processes to a reaction by using a two-phase solution to be made phase-transitional by a temperature change, by which many samples can be subjected to a chemical reaction process of a same condition by using one process unit, and to provide an apparatus for executing this method.;SOLUTION: The method for subjecting many (N pieces of)samples to the reaction of the same condition by using as a reaction solvent the two-phase solution which is made phase-transitional reversibly, namely is kept in a two-phase state or in one homogeneous state, at a fixed boundary temperature comprises a vessel always warming step (A) to warm many reaction vessels at the same time and keep the reaction vessels at the predetermined temperature, a sample warming step (B) to pipet samples in the warmed reaction vessels and keep the two-phase solutions at the predetermined temperature, a reaction step (C) to agitate the sample warmed at the predetermined temperature, obtain the one homogeneous solution and keep the homogeneous solution for a predetermined time and a cooling step (D) to cool the homogeneous solution without cooling the reaction vessel after the predetermined time passes and obtain the two-phase solution in the reaction vessel.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
