PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for removing fish bones, which can easily remove the vertebra and pin bones of a fish, can reduce the fish meat left on the bones to improve the yield, and does not cause the deformation of the fish body.;SOLUTION: This apparatus for removing the fish bones is characterized by having a pair of comb tooth-like cutting blades 8 equipped with many comb teeth to be inserted into spaces between the pin bones, a pin bone-nipping means 9 for nipping the pin bones with the inserted comb teeth 81, a vertebra-nipping means 9 for imparting a pressing force to the vertebra side of the comb teeth 81 to nip the vertebra, and a fish bone pullout means 106 for moving the nipped comb teeth in the forward direction of the fish body to pull out the pin bones together with the vertebra.
