PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device for a shutter, which eliminates the need for thickening a guide rail and enables prevention of an unlocking action from an outdoor side.;SOLUTION: The locking device for the shutter is provided with a lock receiving member 60, which is mounted within the guide rail 40, and a latch bar 32 which is built into a shutter curtain 30 and locked in such a manner as to be capable of protruding from/retracting into the member 60. A protruding part 62A of the member 60 is engaged with a groove 47 of an outdoor surface part 41 of the guide rail 40, and the surface part 41 is engaged with the member 60 so as to be unmovable in indoor and outdoor directions. The surface part 41 can be prevented from being pried open because the guide rail 40 is integrated with the member 60 for the purpose of an increase in strength even if a person tries to pry the surface part 41 to open. Consequently, the guide rail 40 in itself does not have to be made thicker, and the unlocking action from the outdoor side can also be prevented.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
