PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the opening and closing of a shutter to a safety side when a sensor is out of order or in a sensing state.;SOLUTION: The shutter opening and closing control device 1 is provided with an operating section PBS opening and closing a shutter 6, a sensor 2 outputting a signal of a sensing state when sensing an obstacle and outputting a signal of a termination state when the sensing of an obstacle is terminated, a closing side circuit supplying driving power in response to the direction of descending of the shutter 6 when it is lowered, and a relay control section 27 capable of electrically opening and closing the closing side circuit by the opening and closing of a relay contact for prohibition of closing that is inserted into the closing side circuit and holding the closing prohibiting relay contact in an opened state, upon receiving a signal of a sensing state from the sensor 2, opening the closing side circuit and prohibiting the lowering of the shutter 6 and changing the relay contact for closing prohibition for closing and making the shutter 6 lowerable upon receiving a signal of a terminated state.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
