PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a honeycomb structure that is capable of exchanging heat efficiently even under corrosive atmosphere, a heat-storing body using the honeycomb structure, a heat-storing burner utilizing the heat-storing body, and a switching-type heat-storing burner utilizing the heat-storing burner and a heating oven utilizing the switching-type heat-storing burner. SOLUTION: An -alumina particle with an average particle diameter of 0.2-10 m is contained by 60-96 wt.%, and the remainder is made of an Al-Si-O based oxide and an unavoidable impurity.
