PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten required time, even in the case a same item with a same item number is supplied by a plurality of suppliers, by avoiding material require ment planning calculation for each supplier.;SOLUTION: The material requirement planning system 1 inputs of supplier's information as well as an item number of the parts to be the object of and ordering plan. The parts item and constitution information conversion part 2 imparts the supplier data to each of the parts number, by which conversion even the same parts is given a different parts number if supplied by different suppliers. The parts requirement, ordered parts, stock information conversion part 3 also imparts the supplier information to the parts number. The material requirement planning calculation part 4 performs the material requirement planning calculation in a conventional way based upon these converted parts numbers. The output data conversion part 5 extracts the suppliers' information included in the parts number which has resulted from the material requirement planning calculation, and returns the parts number to its original.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
