PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lipase activity enhancer composed of a crude drug, a skin care preparation, a skin care preparation for slimming and a bath medicine for slimming comprising the lipase activity enhancer. SOLUTION: This lipase activity enhancer comprises one or more kinds of crude drugs selected from the whole herb of Pogostemon cablin Benth. except the root, a tuberous root of Polygonum multiflorum Thunb., a sap of Boswellia carterii Birdwood or a rhizome of Dioscorea tokoro Makino. The skin care preparation, skin care preparation for slimming and bath medicine for slimming comprise the lipase activity enhancer. Fatty tissues such as subcutaneous fats can be reduced and obesity can be ameliorated for slimming by percutaneously administering the lipase activity enhancer.
