Light source (5) is surrounded by water crystals (8) and separated from these crystals by at least two transparent partition walls (6) which define the space for storing these crystals. The crystals comprise water absorbent polymers such as polyacrylate or polyacrylamide copolymers. The crystals can be colorless or colorants can be added to them.
