The method is used for leeching of ores under different striking conditions and in occurrences having lower content of useful components in the ore. By the method, for the formation of compensation space, the richest part of the ore is mined away using the conventional method. It is taken up to the surface and is subjected to hydraulic metallurgical treatment in a specially built plant. The appurtenant ore layers are blasted to form artificial permeability at the place of striking in a compensation space. By using filtration in succession of solutions of different reagents or combination thereof, the blasted and magazined ore is leeched. In an adjacent ore-less layer, another compensation space is formed using the conventional method, its volume being determined in such a way as to take up the entire quantity of the waste from the hydrometallurgical dressing of the mined away rich ore. The rock mass produced is stored in an ordinary spoil heap thus avoiding any need for having a special dressing plant and building a special spoil heap or plant for embankment leeching.
