The present invention relates to the treatment of diseases and pathologies of the central and peripheral nervous systems to the treatment of diseases and pathologies of muscles and to the treatment of diseases and pathologies of different organs. In particular, the present invention relates to novel compounds which are capable to stimulate the proliferation or/and the outgrowth from cells presenting the neural cell adhesion molecule (NCAM). Additionally, the invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions, medicaments and methods for treatment of normal, degenerated and damaged NCAM presenting cells.
