A METHOD FOR ADJUSTING THE TEMPERATURE OF MELT AND CONTENT OF OXYGEN THEREIN

A method for adjusting temperature of the melt and content of oxygen therein in making products of copper consists in that into the melted charge, e.g. in the impact furnace, melt temperature and oxygen content are determined in a normalized way. After finishing the melting, the melt is removed of the furnace, adjusting end values of melt temperature and oxygen content therein is made by means of burner using of air-gas burners mounted in the cover of sheltered overflowing trough. To adjust the melt temperature burners discharge rate is modified, and for adjusting oxygen in the melt the ratio gas-air is modified, which results in forming oxidation or reducing atmosphere.
