The proposed device for studying deformation properties of textile materials at various humidity and temperature of environment contains a hermetically sealed chamber with two clamps for fixing a material sample, to which a specified test force is applied, a transducer for measuring the concentration of steam in the chamber, a contact thermometer, heating elements, which are installed in the chamber, and devices for monitoring and controlling humidity and temperature in the chamber. The chamber is coupled with a system for drying, cooling, and delivering steam. The clamps are installed at the upper part and the lower part of the chamber. The deformation of the material sample is determined on a vernier scale provided at the lower clamp.
