Implant to promote bone fusion between adjacent vertebral bodies, said implant having an outer surface, a longitudinal axis and comprising a set of components derived from cortical bones, said components comprising: a first strut (12) having a first portion (20 ) of coupling with the bone, a second opposite portion (22) of coupling with the bone and a first impact surface (25) which is arranged intermediate in a plane that is positioned substantially orthogonal to the longitudinal axis, and a second end (34 ) opposite the first impact surface; a second strut (14) that is spaced from said first strut, said second strut having a third portion (24) engaging with the bone, an opposite fourth portion (26) engaging with the bone, a second impact surface (27 ) which is arranged intermediate in a plane positioned substantially orthogonal to the longitudinal axis and a second end (35) opposite the second impact surface (27), said second strut defining in cooperation with said first strut an internal space (49), in which: the first strut (12) and the second strut (14) each include an opening (38, 39) that opens in the internal space; an elongated transverse member (16, 16A) extending from the first strut to the second strut and including a first end (36, 36A) that is coupled within the opening (38) of the first strut (12) and a second end (36B) coupled within the opening (39) of the second strut; and an osteogenic material (48) interposed between the first (12) and the second strut (14), and adapted to be moldable to provide a semi-rigid configured component; and wherein said first and second impact surfaces define flat surfaces placed substantially parallel to the elongated transverse member, characterized each of said flat surfaces comprising an opening (30) for coupling a tool, characterized in that said osteogenic material adheres to the less than one of the first strut, the second strut and the transverse member.
