The present invention relates to methods for screening, identifying, or selecting an active compound using peptides derived from the target protein and functional antibodies active on said target protein. The target protein is preferably a G-protein-coupled receptor (GPCR). The invention also relates to the use of functional antibodies active on the target protein for screening, identifying, or selecting a compound active on the target protein. The invention also concerns a kit for screening, identifying, or selecting a compound active on the target protein comprising at least one functional antibody active on the target protein and a peptide comprising its epitope.
