Described is the human protein designated interleukin-22 (IL-22) and the polynucleotide encoding this protein. Also described are vectors, host cells, antibodies, and recombinant methods producing this human protein. Further, described are diagnostic methods and pharmaceutical compositions useful for diagnosing and treating disorders related to this human protein.
