KEY INPUT DEVICE IN A MOBILE TERMINAL, ESPECIALLY CONCERNED WITH IMPLEMENTING THE INPUT OF DATA THROUGH KEY BUTTONS IN AN ELECTRICAL METHOD BY PHYSICAL CONTACTS

PURPOSE: A key input device in a mobile terminal is provided to prevent deterioration in durability or operation inferiority by operating key buttons electrically by physical contacts. CONSTITUTION: A key input device for inputting data, installed at a PCB(22) in a mobile terminal, consists of key buttons(11), an electric conductor(12), and an input pad(13). Each of the key buttons(11), installed in the upper side of a case(21), expresses each different character or figure. A penetration hollow(110) is formed at a side of each key button(11). The electric conductor(12), fixed in the inner side of the penetration hollow(110) in an insert method, makes contact with the human body and receives an electrical signal when a key button(11) is touched. The input pad(13), installed between the key buttons(11) and the PCB(22), receives the electrical signal, inputted to the electric conductor(12), and transfers it to the PCB(22).
