METHOD FOR TESTING HDD BY ALLOCATING TEST THREADS SEQUENTIALLY, AND RECORDING MEDIUM FIT TO THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method for testing an HDD(Hard Disk Drive) and a recording medium fit to the same are provided to efficiently advance a test depending on a random installation state of the HDD. CONSTITUTION: Installation of the HDDs is scanned(808). One test thread is sequentially assigned to each installed HDD. Whenever the test thread is executed, one of the sequential tasks needed for the test is executed(810). To be referred by the next test thread, a task state is recorded whenever one task is terminated by the test thread(812).
