PURPOSE: An energy recovery circuit is provided to save the manufacturing cost by reducing the number of elements since the Y and Z sustain pulses are generated by only one source capacitor and one inductor. CONSTITUTION: An energy recovery circuit includes a panel capacitor(Cp), a source capacitor(Cs), a charge/discharge unit(62), a power supplying unit(60) and an inductor(L). The panel capacitor is formed between the scan electrode and the sustain electrode. The source capacitor charges and discharges the voltage recovered from the panel capacitor. The charge/discharge unit forms the charge/discharge path between the panel capacitor and the source capacitor. The power supplying unit supplies the sustain voltage and the base voltage to the panel capacitor. And, the inductor is connected to the panel capacitor to form the resonance circuit together with the panel capacitor.
