DUPLICATED INTERCEPTION SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING WATER FLOW IN A WATER PURIFIER HAVING AN ELECTRONIC INTERCEPTION MEANS AND A MECHANICAL INTERCEPTION MEANS

PURPOSE: To provide a duplicated interception system for controlling water flow in a water purifier, which is able to prevent generation of overflow in a purified water storage tank by having an electronic interception means and a mechanical interception means. CONSTITUTION: In a water purifier having a water supply pipe (11), at least one filter (10,20,30) and a purified water storage tank (40), the system comprises a solenoid valve (50) that has an electronic switch structure and is on the water supply pipe to control a flow of supplied raw water, a water level detection sensor (45) that detects a water level of the purified water storage tank, a control part that optionally controls the operation of the solenoid valve in accordance with a signal applied from the water level detection sensor, a display means (70) that displays malfunction of the solenoid valve and a second interception means (60) that has a mechanical switch structure and includes a built-in air bladder to control the flow of purified water in the purified water storage tank.
