PURPOSE: A camera apparatus in a mobile terminal is provided to give background color or a space image to a displayed image screen by installing a background screen selection member in a camera module so as to embody various background effects. CONSTITUTION: A camera apparatus in a mobile terminal comprises a camera module housing(10), a camera module(20), a background screen selection member(30), a stopper unit, and an interworking/interworking release unit. The camera module housing(10) is rotatively fixed to a hinge part coaxially, and has a lens exposure hollow(11). The camera module(20), fixed in the camera module housing(10), rotates with the camera module housing(10) in a single unit. The background screen selection member(30) is installed rotatively between the camera module housing(10) and the camera module(20). The stopper unit is provided to prevent the background screen selection member(30) from being separated to the outer side from the camera module housing(10). The interworking/interworking release unit makes the background screen selection member(30) only rotated for the camera module housing(10).
