SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PLAYING ANIMATED EXPLANATION, AND CONTROLLING GRAPHIC ELEMENTS USED IN ELECTRONIC DICTIONARY

PURPOSE: A system and a method for playing an animated explanation used in an electronic dictionary are provided to play a moving image explanation by analyzing a text explanation, obtaining a graphic element, a trajectory equation of the graphic element, and a display time of the trajectory, calculating multiple coordinates, and controlling display of the graphic element. CONSTITUTION: A database(110) stores the text explanation, the graphic element, the trajectory equation of the graphic element, and the display time of the trajectory. An explanation analyzer(120) obtains the graphic element, the trajectory equation of the graphic element, and the display time of the trajectory by analyzing the text explanation. A coordinates calculator(130) calculates the multiple coordinates for each graphic element according to the trajectory equation of the graphic element, the display time of the trajectory, and a displaying number of the graphic element, and allocates a sequence number to each coordinate. A graphic processor(140) displays each graphic element according to the multiple coordinates and the sequence number of the graphic element.
