SPEED MEASUREMENT APPARATUS OF MOVING OBJECT USING ACCELEROMETER AND ITS METHOD, ESPECIALLY CONTROLLING AVERAGE WINDOW AND WEIGHTED VALUE

PURPOSE: A speed measurement apparatus of a moving object using an accelerometer and its method are provided to measure an earth gravity acceleration speed included in an acceleration speed component of the moving object. CONSTITUTION: According to the speed measurement method using an accelerometer, an average period and an average window and weighted value control criteria are set. Measurement value of the accelerometer is stored(S110). It is judged whether a moving object stops when the speed of the moving object is measured(S120). An irregular constant of the accelerometer and a gravity acceleration component during a stop state are detected when the moving object is in a stop state(S130). The average window and the weighted value are adjusted when the moving object is not in a stop state(S150). The irregular constant of the accelerometer and the gravity acceleration component are detected on the ground of the average window and the weighted value information. Then, a speed of the moving object is calculated on the ground of the real acceleration value after calculating the real acceleration value(S160).
