METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING AN ESCAM TO INCREASE A DATA RATE IN A 1X MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, ESPECIALLY RELATED TO SUPPLYING STABLE DATA QUALITY DURING A 1X DATA SERVICE

PURPOSE: A method for transmitting an ESCAM(Extended Supplemental Channel Assignment Message) to increase a data rate in a 1x mobile communication system is provided to increase the transmission rate of a data service by preventing the first ESCAM from being lost, thereby supplying a stable data quality during a 1x data service, consequently improving an abnormal data quality under good wireless environment. CONSTITUTION: A user accesses an IP network via a PDSN through a data transmitter and a data controller of a AN(Access Network)(S610). The IP network transmits ESCAMs through a fundamental channel, and wherein the first ESCAM includes power control information(S620). If an AT(Access Terminal) receives the first ESCAM, the AT generates an ACK message to send the generated message to the AN(Access Network)(S630). The AN confirms whether the ACK message is received(S640), and sends the first ESCAM to the AT(S650). Data is transmitted to the AT from the IP network through the AN(S660).
